Charles Van Beerleire Wall Light

1920’s wall light attributed to the atelier of Charles Van Beerleire whose style was typically a combination of constructivism and orientalism.

This wall light was originally covered in silver leaf (must have been very futuristic) and later was overpainted in shades of blue.

On the back is written ‘magasin’ in pencil.I assume this was once part of a shop interior.
