Cockfighting Spurs

A pair of cockfighting spurs. 
These were attached to a fighting cock's own spurs. 
The animals would fight, one on one, until one of them admits defeat or dies. 
The practise is prohibited almost everywhere in Europe, however illegal cockfighting 'gallodromes' or 'cockpits' still exist. 
These are found in Belgium, where cockfighting is illegal since 1867.
