Glass plate photograph of a mother and daughter with their dog cart. 
From a early 20th century collection of photographs from an Antwerp-based family, the box was marked 'Foto's Pa'. 
Many people in this period relied on dogs for their transport, as horses were expensive and needed more care and infrastructure.
