Kneeling Hunter Weathervane

A cut metal weathervane dated 1912 and with initials 'J. S.' in the form of an arrow with a kneeling hunter on top, painted in a deep bloody red. 
Piece of authentic French folk art from the early 20th century that would have originally sat on top of a building to show the direction of the wind.
