Playing card cuttings
€275.00
A pair of images cut out of 18th century playing cards.
A: a horse and dog cut out of the ace of spades.
B: a vagabond with the same dog, resting against a stone marker on a forest road cut out of the three of clubs. He is depicted in ragged clothing and with a large walking stick.
On the back (or front) detailed in pencil. I prefer the more vague side of the card suits.
18th/19th century, 8.6 x 5.8 cm (x2)
