V. Laer, Two Dogs and a Horse Portrait

Unusual oil on cardboard painting of two dogs, left a german shepherd and right I do not know, in a room with green walls.
On the wall we can see a portrait of horse. 
Signed 'V-LAER', probably Van Laer, and dated 1969.
